Looking for a Pair of Clean Pants...

Well, I had an interesting night. To start off mom is in the hospital and it was sad to visit her and see all of the pain that she was in, but that wasn't the most frightening thing of my night. As some may know Rachel Craig and I have been organizing a Mississippi reunion party for the Delmarva Christian students. So I had to take a projector, xbox, speaker system, and some sodas down to the pool house to prepare for the festivities. While there I stepped outside to go obtain my xbox, and I had the pleasure of viewing a Delaware State Police car neatly parked next to my father's pickup which I had been illegally driving. So setup the scene. I borrow dad's truck to run down and drop some stuff off to the pool house. It is just me, a bunch of lights, and xbox, projector, speaker system, and my cell phone. What to do when you see a cop sitting in the driveway next to your illegally driven pickup? Hide of course! So I precede to turn around, re-enter the pool house and lock the door and lock myself within the shower room. At this point I don't know what to think. I am more scared now than I have ever been in my life, I want to cry, but I am so scared. So I call dad to come to the rescue! Dad calmly says, "I'll feed the dog and I'll be right there." Yeah, that just didn't cut it. I am thinking forget the stupid dog, I am about to die right now. After standing in the shower room for a while I hear a impolite knocking on the door. At this point I was wishing I had locked myself in the bathroom cause I think I just crapped my pants! But, following the knock I hear the reassuring voice of my father. So I open the door, to see my father and a family friend who is a State Policeman. I fall on the floor in disbelief. During the short time I was in the shower room, which seemed like hours, I had a million thoughts go through my head. I thought about when I would ever get my license, what happens if they take dad's truck, and a number of other random thoughts. But everything came out fine and dad was able to use this time to minister to the cop and tell him about our mission trips and I think he is going to go to Jamaica with us in November. So it all came out swell and it is just further proof that God has a purpose for everything. Well my heart has still not returned to it's normal state of beating. So everyone be safe and obey the law!
